I dreamed in French -- which freaked me out! At that time, no one had Internet. (It was too expensive. Connecting to a server meant a long distance phone call, and paying long distance fees for every minute you were on the Net.) We had satellite TV and some American sitcoms aired in VO (version originale) with French subtitles.
