  1. Heheh... And so Jessica C. Bell took her "first" step on the slippery slope towards becoming a vlogger!
Next thing you know you'll be an internet meme! Oh noes! ; j

Just kidding of course, nice to see the Famous Holly at last! : j

  2. Jessica,
I'm so glad you showed us where you live, especially the view from the balcony. My first video look at Greece! What a treat to start our day here in Ohio.
This time next year, you'll be able to show "String Bridge" sitting on your bookshelf.

  3. I loved hearing your voice, hon. You sound so sweet! (h-hum, but I already know you are.) lol

I'm in love with your dog! 'K, was it scary doing a vlog? I've been telling myself I need to do one, but sprout chicken feathers every time I think about it. Hee... Enjoy your weekend.

  5. OH. MY. GOD! Your voice! Your accent!

I knew, being an Aussie living in Greece, that your voice and accent would both be adorable, but I had no idea they would be this great! You sound SO cool.

Ahem. Also you have a lovely place. I agree with Janice, the view from your balcony of a beautiful Greek day is really uplifting. You also have just about the cutest dog ever. That is all.

  6. I LOVED hearing your voice! This was such a treat to see your home and dog. I had no idea you had a dalmatian -- my absolute favorite breed of dog! (I'm a cat person...but I have always loved dalmatians!) Anyhow, I hope this is the first of many vlogs to come. Next time, maybe S can film you...? :))))

    Happy Friday, love!

  9. You've got SUCH a beautiful voice! I sound like a rapid chipmunk when I'm recorded. It's awful. Lovely flat. I doubt I could survive long in any city, as I'm so acclimated to being in the country, but your place is great, and that balcony! Love that, and your pup, she's adorable. Thanks so much for the glimpse into your world! :D

  12. Holly is beautiful!! I love Dalmatians. :)

I've thought about doing a vlog, but it's nerve-wracking...and I'm not sure how I'd do it. We have a camcorder that can hook up to the computer, but that seems...I dunno...difficult. :)

    Anyway, enjoyed it!!

  14. That was awesome. You totally have to do read your own audiobooks, I could listen to your voice all day!

"Da da da da daaaaaaa..." LOL!

Very entertaining! Have a great weekend.

  15. Wow! Loved hearing your voice! It's so amazing to put a face with a name, but when you put a voice and a face with a name...fantastic!!

I might have to consider this ...

  16. I don't know what you were worried about! What a great way to 'meet' you.

I was reminded of downtown Paphos, here in Cyprus with your balcony view.

Job well done, I must say, I expected to hear your voice deeper than it is. LOL the picture we paint in our minds!

It was neat to see how you worked as well. Thanks for sharing

  25. I love your accent! And love the colors in your apartment as well. It's fun to see where someone lives; we're all kind of stuck in each others head, you know? Can't wait to see the next!

  26. That was so adorable. You’re so cute. And uh, pretty doggy with and can I just say—the best name ever.

  27. Ah! I still can't get it to work for me! Stoopid computer.

  29. You have just a pretty dog!

And, I think you're view from the balcony is fantastic. Thanks for sharing. :)

  30. Holly is cute, but I could tell she was puzzled why she wasn't the star of the whole show!

It was great hearing your voice and seeing a bit of your environment. My cat, Gypsy, wears sunglasses because she doesn't passers-by to recognize her in my ramshakle environments!

Odd coincidence. On my blog Elena Solodow is reading the prologue to my THE LEGEND OF VICTOR STANDISH -- THE HELL-BOUND BUS.

If you're feeling brave, come check it out.

  31. How fun to "hear" you for a change! Love your accent (well, to me, I'm American). You even make "crap furniture" sound sophisticated!

  32. Cool! Loved your adorable dog... and the view from your balcony had character. Nice! You've more guts than me, though... I'm too chicken to do a video post! Nice job... and I love your accent! :)
