#AtoZChallenge: Suzi Quattro

WINNER #08: Congratulations CLAIRE HENNESSY! Drop me an email to let me know which album of mine you want and I'll send you a download link.
_______________

Haha. Okay. Susi is my Joan Jett. Lot's of people think I'm influenced by Joan Jett. In fact, many have commented that I look like her in some of my photos. That's not such a bad thing, I'm flattered! But nope. It wasn't Joan Jett. It was Suzi. Suzi all the way. I always wanted to be a tough rock chick. Never quite happened. But I can dream :)

Who did you want to be, but never quite became?

Don't forget to drop by Dawn Ius' blog, my partner in crime, to see her music pick for Q.

REMEMBER! During the challenge, I will choose a random commenter every two days, to receive a free download of one of my albums. Your choice! That's thirteen winners. How does that sound? Tell your friends! Just comment for a chance to win.

  1. Bananarama were quite big on my list of 'cool' back in the day. Then a young Madonna with her Myra Hindly look (Brits will understand that one) in her 'Desperately Seeking Susan' garb.

  5. Congratulations, Claire. I'm enjoying my download choice: Ash 11.

I don't even want to answer that question. Too loaded. I could fill a book.

  8. Quite a Quattro! She belts out a song, doesn't she?

As to whom I wanted to be and never quite became: I was torn between Elenore Roosevelt and Princess Di. Then I decided I'd rather just be me.

  9. I always wanted to be either Princess Diana (without the dying part) or Allison Chaney's character on The West Wing. Loved her.

  10. Jessica, you do look like Joan Jett, but you jame like Suzi. I'm surprised I've never heard of her. She has a great sound. I always discover great music at your site. Keep it up!

  11. I still want to be John Petrucci, Dream Theater's guitarist, but that won't happen in five lifetimes!

  12. Suzi certainly was/still is one of the original 'Wild Ones'. One day spent with the likes of Bernie Taupin, Don McLean, Paul Simon would be a dream come true experience.

  13. Suzi was/is brilliant. She is feisty and full of life.
