#AtoZchallenge: Offspring

WINNER #07: Congratulations BRINDA BERRY! Drop me an email to let me know which album of mine you want and I'll send you a download link.
_______________

I wasn't that keen on this band, BUT, I still love the song embedded below. It's a real party starter. And also has a good hook. You can never bash a song with a good hook, right? Mind you, this song also reminds me of obnoxious Aussie boys who've drunk too many beers and who are being violent in a public park, but hey ... whatever.

I just have to say, that Nirvana was enough to fill the niche that Offspring try to fill. Offspring fans, please don't hit me *ducks* ...

Are there any songs you like from artists you're not particularly a fan of?

Don't forget to drop by Dawn Ius' blog, my partner in crime, to see her music pick for O.

  5. The Offspring is my favorite band. Or at least, in the top five. But I can be the odd person out as long as I get to keep listening ^_^

  6. No no no, you can't have the whole group in one picture. You gotta keep 'em separated.

  7. Completely off topic, but have you seen the film Romper Stomper? It's very weird, and totally racist, but your mention of Aussie boys reminded me of it.

  8. Their old stuff is much better than their new and I love giving them a listen every now and again. I won't hit you if you don't hit me for saying that I don't like Nirvana.

  9. I'm with Talli, had forgotten about them. About your question, there's a bunch, but I don't think about them until I hear the song. *sighs*

  13. Yeah, there are a few Offspring songs that I love and still play. Their style of singing is like yelling, but it works!
