Change of Schedule

Hi all! Thanks for all the wonderful input on yesterday's post!

Just a quick note today to let you know I've decided to cut down on blogging for a while. The schedule may stick or it may not. It just depends on how busy the rest of my life is at any given time. Working freelance can be a bit like that. When it rains it pours. At the moment I just have too much going on so I'm just going to post Mondays and Thursdays. I will read your blogs and comment sporadically, depending on my free time.

And just because I feel like it, here's a photo of why I LOVE Greek yoghurt so much. See the spoon sticking out of the top? Well, there ain't no hand holding that in place. :o)

Have a wonderful week and see ya Thursday!!! :o)

  5. I'm cutting down on my schedule too. There are two new story ideas floating around my head and I'm going to spend time fleshing them out -- "with the door closed," as Mr. Stephen King says. Good luck with all your work!!

  6. I completely hear you. I've actually given up three freelance jobs over the last month because of other family obligations (with 4 kids, I have a ton of those) and rewriting my manuscript. I'm considering chopping down to two days as well, for a while. Let's just make sure we keep in touch through emails. :)

  9. I've noticed that cutting down is a common theme right now. I'm cutting down from five days a week to three. I just need to write.

  15. I don't believe that picture unless I can see the top the spoon. There may not be a hand, but there could be some other apparatus holding the spoon in place. Greeks are tricky.

  19. Hey, you do what you gotta do.

And I'm sorry I missed the discussion The Slap! That book is sitting on my shelf staring at me right now.

And, yes, I like stories that stare darkness in the face. I even wrote a post, once, about how I want my writing to burn the reader to the ground.

I'm quite friendly in person, though. :)

  24. I agree with you on both accounts. I'm back to blogging 3 days a week or when I can. And Greek yogurt is so lovely, I want it every day.
