#AtoZChallenge: Dead Star

This band is Australian, and friends of the family. Catchy tunes, great lyrics, the perfect blend of pop and rock. Thriving with enough emotion to be moved by their songs, and enough energy and quirk to get up and dance. Perfect for the pub on a Friday night. Perfect for a pick-me-up after work, with a glass of beer in your back yard. Perfect for a lot of stuff really. Such as offering inspiration to get creative ...

Have you got any "all-purpose" favourite musicians?

Don't forget to drop by Dawn Ius' blog, my partner in crime, to see her music pick for D.

REMEMBER! During the challenge, I will choose a random commenter every two days, to receive a free download of one of my albums. Your choice! That's thirteen winners. How does that sound? Tell your friends! Just comment for a chance to win.

  11. Great sound. Kind of a retro-pop thing similar to the Cranberries. So far "The Girl Who Fell" is my favorite of yours.

  12. Not a bad band at all. There are many cool bands that come out of Aussie land, and I am thankful for them. My all tive fave has to still be AC/DC. lol That's old school, but old cool!

  14. I'm a die-hard Weezer fan, but Coldplay on my pandora is usually a good universal station. I'm also really into the Christina Perry station.

    Visiting from A to Z.

  16. I don't have an "all-purpose" recording artist, although my favorites include Muse, Midnight Syndicate, classic Journey, and the Alan Parsons Project.
